Primera Technology Europe, a manufacturer of label printing equipment, is presenting its inkjet-based LX-Series color label printers at the London Wine Fair. The event is celebrating its 35th anniversary. Primera will show short to medium-run solutions using inkjet technology, such as the LX900e Color Label Printer. It offers a print resolution of 4800 dpi, which enables users to add vibrant pictures of their products next to small texts, such as ingredients or barcodes. Separate ink cartridges for each color keep operating costs low, while short runs allow increased efficiency. In addition to its existing range of dry-toner and inkjet-based label printers, Primera Technology Europe will also show its new LX2000e Color Label Printer, an industrial-grade desktop printer. LX2000e features large ink tanks for lower cost per label, fast print speeds and pigment ink for better water and UV resistance. Other highlights include built-in wired/Ethernet or wireless connection options, a “pizza wheel” cutter, front color LCD control panel and viewing window for label stock levels. Primera’s Vintage Paper Material is suited for wine bottles transporting the idea of a rare and good bottle of wine. For wine labels that should convey luxury and elegance, Primera offers the FX400e Foil Printer that adds metallic gold, silver or color foil to inkjet- or laser-printed labels. Primera’s label product range is completed by the AP-Series Label Applicators. The AP362e Label Applicator applies front and back labels to round containers, and the AP550e Flat-Surface Label Applicator makes use of square sided bottles, boxes, pouches and bags to apply labels faster, more accurately and wrinkle-free in exactly the location desired. This gives finished products a highly professional look and increases the number of containers that can be labeled per hour versus manually applying labels.
